At AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door last night, Jack Perry attacked now-former friend HOOK and Taz has now reacted.
With the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship on the line, SANADA was able to retain over Jack Perry.
Walking away from the ring, Perry was accompanied by HOOK, with the FTW Champion raising his friend’s arm in show of support.
Perry clearly didn’t want the support, however, laying out his friend and basking in the jeers of the crowd.
HOOK’s father, Taz, who was on commentary but left the position at that point, has now responded to Perry’s actions in a succinct way on social media, tweeting:
“HE F**KED UP.”
Jack Perry has also shared an expletive-laden message of his own after Danhausen tweeted:
“HOOK, Danhausen would never do what Jangleman Jack Jerry did”
Perry’s response to Danhausen was:
“What, have a good match? F**k you.”
Danhausen then replied:
“Did you win?”
AEW owner Tony Khan had previously explained why he chose Perry to face SANADA at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door, saying:
“Jungle Boy is somebody I really believe can continue rising to the top of pro wrestling and could be a great champion for any company.”
HE FUCKED UP.
