Another Star Added To AEW Championship Match At Forbidden Door 2025

A CMLL star has been added to an AEW championship match slated for Forbidden Door, which takes place on August 24 in London, England.

It was previously announced that Mercedes Mone would defend her AEW TBS Championship in a four-way match at Forbidden Door, with representatives from AEW, CMLL and STARDOM to challenge for the gold.

With AEW’s Alex Windsor previously earning her spot in the match, we now know who will be representing CMLL in this crossover bout.

It has now been confirmed that Persephone has been added to the TBS Championship match, in CMLL’s spot.

CMLL first announced this on its Informa show. AEW has since shared an updated graphic for the match featuring Persephone on social media, which you can view below.

The final spot in the match will be taken by a star representing STARDOM.
