AEW Star Praises Ricky ‘The Dragon’ Steamboat After Return Match

An AEW star has high praise for the return match of Ricky Steamboat at WrestleCade, after Steamboat had been away from in-ring action for over a decade.

After participating in the match featuring the return of WWE Hall of Famer, Ricky ‘the Dragon’ Steamboat, an AEW star has shared glowing praise.

Dax Harwood took to Twitter after the return outing at WrestleCade to share high praise.

Harwood wrote:

“I watched from the apron in amazement tonight. It had nothing to do with his moves or his athleticism. I was in awe of the little things he did. Things that made millions fall in absolute love with Ricky. They all reacted to the man; not the moves. I felt inferior tonight.”

The match saw Ricky Steamboat tagging with FTR (Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood) against formidable foes in Jay Lethal (notably in his Black Machismo persona) Brock Anderson and surprise third, Nick Aldis.

In the end, the team of FTR and Ricky ‘the Dragon’ Steamboat picked up the big win to main event the night.

Elsewhere on the card, appearances by other AEW stars, with Brian Pillman Jr. taking on Kerry Morton.

ROH’s The Briscoes were also in action against Rock and Roll Express.
