To open tonight’s AEW Dynamite, a big match was announced for newly signed former WWE star Bobby Lashley, confirmed for Full Gear 2024.
With Dynamite opening with The Hurt Syndicate (MVP, Shelton Benjamin and Bobby Lashley) addressing AEW fans, their mission was clear.
MVP said that the group is there in hopes of “uplifting” talent as the trio had been able to do for each other, but they also came with a warning.
MVP told the AEW stars that reject their offer that they’ll suffer a similar fate to former AEW World Champion, Swerve Strickland, who was attacked by them last week.
However, MVP and the rest of the Hurt Syndicate were promptly confronted by Strickland himself who made an entrance and made his point succinctly.
He wanted a match against Bobby Lashley at the upcoming Full Gear 2024 pay-per-view, and MVP obliged.

Elsewhere on tonight’s Dynamite, Claudio Castagnoli and Pac represent Jon Moxley’s dastardly death riders as they take on Orange Cassidy and Darby Allin as a battle over the future of AEW continues.
