A huge (literally) championship match has been made official for this Saturday’s (November 19) AEW Full Gear pay-per-view.
On last week’s show, the short-lived but dominant WarJoe team, consisting of AEW TNT Champion Wardlow and ROH Television Champion Samoa Joe, imploded.
Joe attacked Wardlow from behind, choking him out, and staking his claim to the TNT Championship.
On tonight’s episode of Dynamite, Joe continued to run down Wardlow, before Powerhouse Hobbs came out and also staked his claim for the TNT title.
Wardlow then attacked Joe from behind, and the three big men brawled around the ring which was broken up by various wrestlers from backstage.
It was then officially announced that Wardlow would defend the TNT Championship against both Samoa Joe and Powerhouse Hobbs at Full Gear.
