A current AEW star has addressed his in-ring future, noting that he intends to spend a long time with the company.
“Speedball” Mike Bailey made his debut for the company on the March 12 Dynamite episode, defeating Beast Mortos in the first round of the AEW International Title Eliminator Tournament.
Following a number of departures this year, Bailey has noted that he’s here to stay.
Speaking with PWInsider, Bailey noted his intent to grow with the company.
Hopeful to be involved with the major upcoming events, he said:
“I’m going to be spending a long time with AEW. I want to grow alongside AEW and help AEW grow as it helps me.
“I think Arena Mexico is absolutely huge. All In is going to be one of the biggest pro wrestling events of all time.”
The company will visit Arena Mexico for Grand Slam Mexico on June 18, an event which will also feature CMLL talent.
All In Texas will emanate from the Globe Life Field on July 12, with a Jon Moxley vs Adam Page AEW World Championship match set to headline.
