Title Change At AEW Grand Slam Australia 2025 AEW

An AEW championship changed hands during Saturday night’s (February 15) Grand Slam Australia event.

This international special emanated from the Brisbane Entertainment Centre in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.

Fans in attendance witnessed a notable title change, with a new AEW Women’s World Champion crowned.

Mariah May defended the gold against her former friend Toni Storm at the event. With Storm growing up in Queensland, the Timeless one appeared to have the home field advantage.

Storm was ultimately victorious, rolling May up for a quick pinfall after 15 minutes of action.

Toni Storm made history with this victory, becoming the first ever four-time AEW Women’s World Champion.

This victory ended May’s 174 day reign with the gold. May notably won the gold from Toni Storm at All In London 2024 last August.

Here are the full results from AEW Grand Slam Australia:

Kenny Omega & Will Ospreay def. Konosuke Takeshita & Kyle Fletcher

Mercedes Mone def. Harley Cameron – TBS Championship
