AEW star Griff Garrison has now confirmed that he has undergone surgery, assuring fans that he’ll be back soon.
Garrison took to Twitter with a photo of himself in a hospital bed.
He captioned the social media post:
Had to go under the knife today. I’ll be back in no time.
Garrison didn’t specify the nature of his injury. It also is unclear when Garrison is expecting to make a return to the ring.
The AEW star last wrestled on the November 8 edition of Dark, which was taped on October 21.
On the show, Garrison teamed with Brian Pillman Jr in a losing effort against Cole Karter & QT Marshall of The Factory.
Garrison’s ‘The Blonds’ tag partner Brian Pillman Jr hasn’t wrestled for AEW since this taping, but has had matches on the independent scene since, most recently wrestling on the November 27 Big Time Wrestling Return of the Dragon event.
Garrison’s win/loss record for this year in AEW currently stands at 8-9-0.
