Hangman Adam Page has addressed his appearance at Arena Mexico for AEW Grand Slam, which saw him address the fans in Spanish.

On June 18, Hangman Adam Page entered the ring at AEW Grand Slam: Mexico and, as can be seen below this news story, spoke to the fans in their native tongue, much to their adoration.

The appearance marked the first time Page had appeared at the iconic venue and the first time AEW had run a show in the country.

In a post shared on BlueSky, Page shared his thanks, noting that it was an honor for the AEW stars to perform at Arena Mexico, stating:

“Look, I got no jokes or rhododendrons for you dumbasses today.

“Just wanted to say it was an honor for all of us to perform in Arena Mexico last night. It felt special. Thanks, goodbye.”

AEW Grand Slam: Mexico saw Mercedes Mone crowned as the new CMLL World Women’s Champion following her defeat of Zeuxis, adding to The CEO’s growing collection of championships.

Hangman Adam Page last competed at AEW Double or Nothing on May 25, beating Will Ospreay in the final of the Owen Hart Foundation Men’s Tournament.

It was subsequently revealed that neither Page nor Ospreay knew who was winning until earlier in the weekend, with each pitching the other as victors.

Addressing his victory over Ospreay, Page would reflect on a difficult couple of years in AEW, going on to state that MJF had questioned whether the Hangman would ever ben World Champion again.
