AEW is reportedly ‘heavily interested’ in a recently released WWE star, with them expected to work shows in the very near future.
WWE released a number of talent from the company at the beginning of February, which included former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Isla Dawn.
Dawn was called up to the main roster alongside Alba Fyre in the 2023 WWE Draft, before capturing the Women’s Tag Team Championship at Clash at the Castle in Glasgow last year.
Alba Fyre remains a part of the company following Isla Dawn’s release, with her joining forces with Chelsea Green and Piper Niven in the Secret Hervice on SmackDown.
With Dawn now a free agent, we may potentially know what her next move is, as WrestleVotes has provided an update.
WrestleVotes notes that AEW is ‘heavily interested’ in Isla Dawn, with one source noting that she was recently backstage at an AEW taping.
They noted that the expectation is that Isla Dawn will begin working AEW shows ‘in the very near future’.
