AEW has announced the hiring of a former WWE Vice President of Global Television Production.
Michael Mansury, who served as WWE’s Vice President of Global Television Production, has been hired by AEW, with him being set to start at this week’s AEW Dynamite taping.
Mansury was backstage at the AEW Full Gear pay-per-view last month, but is now officially with the company.
His new title is ‘Senior Vice President & Co-Executive Producer’.
Mansury was with WWE from March 2009 until May 2020. He was hired by the company as a Production Assistant before he rose through the ranks, being elevated to his Vice President role in March 2016.
Mansury was seen as someone who was a big part of the Triple H regime, with him even being unofficially dubbed the ‘next Kevin Dunn’ by those behind the scenes.
After departing the company, he worked as an Executive Producer for Pat McAfee before serving as Senior Vice President & Executive Producer – Global Production for the ONE MMA promotion, a role which he left last month.
