A current AEW champion is set to be involved in the introduction of another promotion’s new title, competing in the first championship match.
With Mercedes Mone amassing an impressive championship collection, the CEO will have the chance to add more hardware to her luggage on July 27.
Mone will face off against Diana Strong at Sunday’s PTW event in Poland. This match will determine the inaugural Bestya Women’s Champion, with Italian promotion Bestya Wrestling introducing a new title.
Bestya shared the following announcement on Instagram:
BREAKING NEWS: the female title of #bestyawrestling will be up for grabs in the show labeled @prime_time_wrestlingpl scheduled on Sunday, July 27 in Poland!!
🇵🇱 Two great wrestlers will be thinking of competing for it: on one side the heroine of home @dianawrestling , on the other a superstar that needs no introduction…. The current AEW TBS Champion mercedesmone

Mone currently holds four active championships, the AEW TBS, CMLL Women’s, EWA Womens and RevPro Undisputed British Women’s titles.
The AEW star carries around six belts in total, as in addition to title belts for these four championships, she also carries her Owen Hart Foundation Tournament belt, and the Queen of Southside belt which represented a title which was unified with the RevPro Undisputed British Women’s Championship prior to Mone’s reign.
Prior to the Bestya Women’s Championship match, Mone will defend her RevPro gold against Safire Reed at the July 25 Summer Sizzler event.
