Ahead of the All In London 2024 pay-per-view, an update has been provided on former AEW World Trios Champion Jay White.
In July, Fightful Select reported that “Switchblade” Jay White had suffered an apparent foot injury in his bout against Hangman Adam Page on AEW Collision.
This led to the Bang Bang Gang being stripped of the AEW World Trios Championships on the company’s television.
Fightful Select (subscription required) provided an update, noting that Jay White was getting closer to a return to the ring following his injury.
The report notes that White was at last week’s AEW TV taping getting checked on for a potential return to the ring, but he didn’t appear ready as of then. Originally, there were a number of people backstage that were hopeful his return was imminent.
“Switchblade” was considered for the AEW All In London 2024 pay-per-view at one point, but it hasn’t been confirmed if he even made the trip to London at the time of this writing.
White was discussed for the Casino Gauntlet Match on the show, but he wasn’t cleared to return as of his visit to the AEW TV tapings last week despite his health status improving .
WrestleTalk will provide any further updates on Jay White’s injury status when they become available.
