Amid his absence from the company’s programming, injured AEW star Powerhouse Hobbs wants to regain the TNT Championship.
Powerhouse Hobbs has been absent from AEW television since suffering a serious leg injury against Jon Moxley for the IWGP World Heavyweight Title on the April 24 edition of AEW Dynamite.
After five months away from the company, Hobbs has been spotted backstage at some AEW TV tapings as of late.
On September 17, Powerhouse Hobbs took to social media to post a photo of himself with the TNT Championship. The caption reads:
I got next!
As previously reported, Hobbs has been back on the road for All Elite Wrestling since being seen backstage at AEW All Out.
It remains to be seen when Hobbs will make his in-ring return to the promotion at the time of this writing.
