AEW Star Confirmed To Be Injured AEW

Tony Khan has shared an injury update on a notable AEW star, confirming their status during the Dynasty 2025 media scrum.

It was previously reported at the beginning of the month that Orange Cassidy had been sidelined with a legitimate injury.

The report noted that the early indication from those within AEW was that it was potentially a torn pectoral muscle injury.

Tony Khan confirmed that Cassidy was one of the stars who was hit by AEW’s “injury bug” during the media scrum following the April 6 Dynasty pay-per-view.

Khan noted:

“The past two weeks, it’s no secret, the company got bit hard by an injury bug. The roster and locker room really rallied hard.

“To lose wrestlers like Orange Cassidy and then Jay White, back-to-back weeks, those are two of the top stars in the company and we would have loved to had both of them here tonight and everybody stepped up.”

As referenced by Khan, Jay White is one of the other AEW names out of action due to an injury, with White replaced by Kevin Knight in the Owen Hart Cup tournament match which took place at Dynasty.
