Following the July 13 edition of Collision, a new report has confirmed an injury suffered by AEW star Trent Beretta.
At AEW Double Or Nothing 2024, Orange Cassidy defeated Trent Beretta in a grudge match. Then, on the May 29 edition of AEW Dynamite, Beretta joined the Don Callis Family after Cassidy rejected a spot in the group.
Orange then took out Trent with a monkey wrench after months of feuding with one another on the July 13 episode of Collision.
Per a new report from Fightful Select (subscription required), Sean Ross Sapp has confirmed that Trent Beretta has been sidelined with an injury.
This injury is the reason why Beretta has not competed in a match since Double Or Nothing.
The 37-year-old was in line for a push before he was put out of action, but hasn’t been cleared to compete since his loss to Cassidy.
WrestleTalk would like to wish Trent Beretta a safe and speedy recovery.
We will post further updates on Beretta’s injury status as/when they become available.
