An update has emerged on an AEW star who suffered an injury during a match on the April 9 Dynamite episode.
Following the April 6 Dynasty event, Wednesday’s Dynamite episode saw Swerve Strickland step into the ring with another Death Rider, with Strickland facing off against PAC.
This match had an abrupt finish, shortly after PAC took a rough fall to the outside, and doctors checking on him.
When PAC re-entered the ring, Swerve immediately hit the Swerve Stomp to pick up the win in a rather abrupt ending to the match, with Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful later reporting that the injury is legitimate.
A new update has emerged from Mike Johnson of PWInsider, who reports that PAC left the taping on crutches.
While the severity of PAC’s injury is currently unclear, the belief among talent is reportedly that PAC’s injury is ankle-based.
PAC is notably an AEW Trios Champion alongside Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta.
This trio most recently defended their gold against Cope and FTR at the Dynasty pay-per-view.
We wish PAC a safe and healthy recovery from his injury.
