New AEW Championship Tournament Announced AEW

A new AEW championship tournament has been announced as the company heads towards Fyter Fest on June 4 in Denver, Colorado.

With just over a week to Fyter Fest, it was recently announced that Kenny Omega would defend the AEW International Championship at the upcoming special.

The June 4 episode of AEW Dynamite Fyter Fest will see Omega in four-way action against three other competitors who are yet to be announced.

In the run-up to next week’s Dynamite, the contenders will be decided in three separate matches.

This week’s Dynamite will see the recently debuted Josh Alexander take on Brody King to secure a spot in the four-way, representing Canada and the United States, respectively.

AEW Collision on May 31 will see Mascara Dorada take on Hechicero (both representing Mexico), will Claudio Castagnoli (Switzerland) will take on Komander (Mexico).

The AEW International Champion Kenny Omega also represents his home nation of Canada.

With AEW Double or Nothing now in the record books, Jon Moxley’s opponent for All In Texas was also revealed following the finals of the Men’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournament.

With Toni Storm retaining the AEW Women’s World Championship, the winner of the Women’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournament was also decided as Mercedes Mone took on Jamie Hayter.
