Top AEW Star Sends Message To Jacob Fatu Following WWE SummerSlam Injury

A top AEW star has sent a message to Jacob Fatu following his apparent injury at WWE SummerSlam 2024.

Near the closing stages of the Bloodline Rules match between Cody Rhodes and Solo Sikoa at SummerSlam 2024, The Samoan Werewolf Jacob Fatu made his presence felt – hitting a massive splash to Rhodes through the announce table on the outside.

Following the spot, Fatu was clearly favouring his ankle, and would be unable to interject again when Roman Reigns made his return moments later and cost Sikoa the match.

While the injury appeared to be an angle, Fatu would be pictured in a walking boot after the show – leading many to question wether the injury was actually real after all.

A further report from Fightful Select noted that Fatu was planned to sell the injury afterwards, however, it couldn’t be 100% confirmed that the it was to be sold to the extent it was by Fatu.

While we await further updates, AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland has seemingly reacted to Fatu’s injury via Twitter.

Strickland wrote:
