AEW/TNA Wrestling
A former TNA Wrestling star has commented after being revealed to be All Elite, making their AEW debut on this week’s episode of Dynamite.
With reports that a number of TNA Wrestling contracts were set to expire earlier this month, one name who was yet to sign an extension was Jake Something.
Something would debut on the January 7 episode of AEW Dynamite, with the signing and a name change confirmed by Tony Khan on social media.
Following Tony Khan announcing his signing, the now-former Jake Something tweeted:
BAD BAD MAN
Now going by the name Jake Doyle, the former TNA Wrestling star appeared with Mark Davis, accepting a bounty put on the heads of Jetspeed by Don Callis and Ricochet.
With Jack Perry and The Young Bucks scoring a victory over The Demand (Ricochet, Bishop Kaun & Toa Liona), The Don Callis Family, including David and Doyle, would make their presence felt with a post-match attack.
Davis and Doyle weren’t the only ones to be seen with The Don Callis Family during the attack, with Andrade El Idolo making his official return to AEW.
El Idolo has since thanked Tony Khan for making him ‘All Elite’ once again, and shared an insight into what his goals may be.
