WWE Hall of Famer Jeff Jarrett made his in-ring debut for AEW at last weekend’s Full Gear pay-per-view.
Jarrett teamed with Jay Lethal in a losing effort to Darby Allin and Sting in a No Disqualification tag match.
Fans have wondered if Jarrett will wrestle often for AEW, or if he would be used more sparingly.
Per Fightful Select (subscription required), we will soon know when Jarrett will next step in the ring against an All Elite Wrestling opponent.
Per Fightful, Jarrett is set to compete at this weekend’s WrestleCade event against an opponent from AEW. The report notes that Jarrett and Matt Hardy have been “setting up things” on their podcasts.
Jarrett has made numerous appearances for many companies this year, including WWE, AEW and GCW. To be specific, this upcoming match is FOR WrestleCade, not an AEW-sanctioned match.
He left WWE back in August following the change in WWE regime. He was replaced as WWE’s Senior Vice President of Live Events by Road Dogg Brian James.
He made his AEW debut on the November 2 episode of the show.
