Katsuyori Shibata made his AEW in-ring debut on tonight’s live edition of AEW Rampage.
NJPW star Katsuyori Shibata made his return to All Elite Wrestling on tonight’s (November 4) episode of AEW Rampage.
After appearing on this week’s edition of Dynamite where he was announced as the dream opponent for the All Atlantic Championship on tonight’s Rampage, this was his AEW in-ring debut.
Shibata made his first appearance for AEW back at the Forbidden Door event, where he also came to the aid of Orange Cassidy, helping him against Will Ospreay.
After a hard fought battle that included the return to action for Shibata after a career threatening injury, ultimately he was unsuccessful in his bid for the AEW All Atlantic Championship.
In the end of the match, Orange Cassidy put his sunglasses on Katsuyori Shibata to strike pose after shaking hands.
