It was the shock heel turn that brought AEW Dynamite to an end and Kenny Omega has reacted to the vicious moment.
In the closing moments of the steel cage match between Jon Moxley and Kenny Omega, Don Callis came to the ring seemingly to help Omega was able to hit his ripcord V-trigger on Moxley.
Going for a pin after a one-winged angel, Callis would strike his former “family member” with a screwdriver, leading to a victory for Moxley.
After the show went off air, cameras caught up with Omega backstage, being assisted by Matt & Nick Jackson.
Asked for his comments on the betrayal in an interview on AEW social media (which you can watch a video of below), an irate Omega said:
“If I can’t trust The Bucks… if I can’t trust my family, who can I trust? Who can I trust?”
