An AEW name is still scouting for talent and has offered both his business card and an offer of help to an up-and-coming star in the company.
On the January 16 episode of AEW Dark: Elevation, Don Callis handed Konosuke Takeshita his business card, saying that both he and Kenny Omega just wanted to help the young star.
In the video clip shared on the AEW Twitter account, Callis says that Takeshita should have won his AEW match, though cited a number of the obstacles in his way, including finding a house, jet lag, work issues, family issues and working four matches at PWG’s BOLA tournament before wrestling Bryan Danielson, saying:
“It’s too much for anyone.
“Kenny Omega used to do stuff like that a couple of years ago, then I started advising him.
“You see, losses aren’t experience, Takeshita, losses are losses and eventually, if you lose enough, no matter how talented you are, there’s nothing left.
“Your problem is not talent, your problem is you need help and I’m just telling you straight-talk because Kenny and I think you’re great.”
