Two members of the AEW roster have confirmed that they got married in announcements shared on May 27, 2025.
The stars in question are former AEW International Champion Konosuke Takeshita and fellow roster member Yuka Sakazaki.
The pair shared posts on their respective Instagram accounts, celebrating their union, with Sakazaki posting:
“They mean more to me than anything—even myself.
“They are my world.
“My heart.
“My everything.”
Takeshita would share the news in a post of his own, translated by Instagram as stating:
“Although this is a personal matter, I would like to introduce my family today.
“I’m about to turn 30. I try to stretch myself every day, trying to become a more respectable adult, but there are still many things I can’t do. I’m so immature that it would be easier to list 100 things I can’t do than 10 things I can do.
“My wife Yuka helps me with those 100 things every day without a second thought, and she doesn’t push me, she even pats me on the back. She’s always there to share my happy and sad times. And so, while we were living together in America, we even ended up having a dog.
“Perhaps he sensed something when he saw us. Kenshiro the Goldendoodle is supposed to be a miniature dog, but he is growing bigger and bigger.
“I will continue to work hard so that Yuka and Kenshiro can live their days happily.
“This is what I wanted to share with you.
“I will continue to do my best in every match I take part in, so I hope you will continue to support me.”
The respective posts included photos of the pair together and their rings, along with an appearance from Kenshiro the Goldendoodle.

Takeshita was recently reported as being set for a match in Japan on June 15, defending the NEVER Openweight Championship at NJPW Dominion.
