An injured AEW star has made a shock return to action during last night’s June 29 ROH TV tapings from the FirstOntario Centre in Hamilton, Ontario.
As well as the ROH tapings, the first pre-taped edition of AEW Collision was also filmed, to be aired this Saturday (July 1).
AEW World Champion MJF made his very first Collision appearance at the tapings, even competing in a surprise title defence.
Elsewhere on the card for Collision were a TBS Championship defence from Kris Statlander as well as two opening round matches in the Owen Hart Tournament, including one with CM Punk on commentary.

As for ROH TV, as well as the previously mentioned return, nine other matches took place, including ROH Women’s Champion Athena and Mark Briscoe in action.
There was also a major six-way match involving a surprising assortment of stars from ROH, AEW and a notable former WWE star.
