AEW star Kyle Fletcher of The Don Callis Family believes a match with House of Black’s Buddy Matthews would be “special.”
Since betraying Will Ospreay at AEW WrestleDream, Kyle Fletcher has received the biggest push of his career as an obsessive heel with wins over Komander and Atlantis Jr.
While there are plenty of major matches for Fletcher with top stars in All Elite Wrestling, he believes one match would be “special” especially for Australian wrestling fans.
In an interview with Wrestle Radio Australia, Kyle Fletcher discussed a potential showdown with his countrymen Buddy Matthews. He said:
“Kind of the biggest one that is right on the precipice is me and Buddy.”
“Me and Buddy have never touched before, never been in the ring before, never been seen on the screen together.”
“That is kind of the one that, I know when that happens, it’s going to be cool and special,”
Fletcher and Matthews are both currently signed with All Elite Wrestling.
The company is set to make their debut in Australia with their AEW Grand Slam event at SunCorp Stadium in February 2025.
The next All Elite Wrestling pay-per-view will take place this Saturday, November 23 with AEW Full Gear. Kyle Fletcher will face Will Ospreay in a singles bout at the show.
