Following their match being announced for the August 17 Collision, the real reason for a change to an AEW match has potentially been revealed.
On the August 10 edition of AEW Collision, Top Flight challenged MxM Collection with the match being made official for the August 17 episode.
However, it was then announced in a segment between the two duos on social media that the match has actually now been moved from the August 17 AEW Collision to the August 16 edition of Rampage this coming Friday. The caption for the video reads:
With mercury in retrograde, #MxMCollective want to reschedule their match with @TopFlight612!
Luchablog took to social media to seemingly reveal the real reason for this change is that Mansoor is scheduled to compete for CMLL on Saturday, August 17 in Mexico. The post reads:
someone called CMLL and found out they also booked Mansoor on Saturday
The August 16 edition of AEW Rampage will be filmed following the live broadcast of the August 14 AEW Dynamite which takes place in Norfolk, Virginia.
