All Elite Wrestling has announced there will be an AEW match taking place ahead of the September 15 Jacksonville Jaguars game.

AEW President Tony Khan is the owner and CEO of All Elite Wrestling, but also works for the NFL’s Jacksonville Jaguars as chief football strategy officer.

Since the inception of All Elite Wrestling, the company and the Jaguars have worked closely with one another, including AEW running shows at Daily’s Place right next door to their stadium.

On September 13, AEW announced that there will be a special Lucha Libre match with Sammy Guevara teaming with Hologram against The Beast Mortos and Matt Taven ahead of the September 15 Jacksonville Jaguars home game against The Cleveland Browns. The post reads:

#AEW is celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month with a special Lucha Libre Match at the @jaguars home game vs. @browns THIS SUNDAY! Join us on the Flex Field at @EverBankStadium at 11:30am ET to see @sammyguevara & #Hologram vs. @MattTaven & @BeastMortos! #CLEvsJAX

The match will take place on Flex Field at the Jacksonville Jaguars’ Ever Bank Stadium at 11:30 a.m. eastern ahead of the 1 p.m. start time for the game.

On the September 11 edition of AEW Dynamite, Ricochet defeated Sammy Guevara. Post match, The Beast Mortos attacked Ricochet before Guevara made the save.
