WWE’s Stephanie McMahon ‘Cared More’ Than Vince McMahon Says AEW Star WWE

A top AEW star has praised working for Stephanie McMahon during their time together in WWE highlighting the differences with Vince McMahon.

Stephanie McMahon resigned from WWE on January 10, the same day Vince McMahon was elected as the company’s Executive Chairman of the Board.

Now, former WWE star and current AEW star Matt Hardy has reflected on his time in WWE and working with Stephanie, Vince and Shane McMahon.

Speaking on The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy, Hardy said:

“I mean, I like Stephanie. I always got along good with her, especially the last round when I was there.

“And I felt like Stephanie was a lot more like Vince than Shane was ever like Vince as far as her business drive, and she knew she had to like, show authority, kind of put her foot down, you know, slapped down on power card, whatever.”

Hardy would, however, identify the difference between Stephanie’s management style and that of Vince and Shane, stating:

“But she was also compassionate.

“And I felt like she cared more about the human beings that were there sacrificing so much for her and her family that run the joint, you know.

“So I feel like she was a little more caring about human beings and their life outside of pro wrestling.”

Matt Hardy had recently commented that Vince was “a pretty vindictive guy”

It has also recently been reported that there Vince and Stephanie had “issues working together” in WWE.
