Matt Jackson has commented on another AEW original departure, confirming reports that his wife Dana Massie is leaving the company.
Writing on Instagram stories over a photo of his wife, Matt Jackson wrote:
“End of an era. You were in the first conversations, when this was all really only an idea. One of the main builders of our empire. Always positive in at times was a thankless job. Glad you got to do it all, and leave on your terms, by your own choice. It’s been fun working with you. See you at dinner 🌸”
Involved in AEW since the inception of the company, Dana Massie served as Chief Marketing & Merchandising Officer during her time with the company.
Jackson has recently commented on re-signing with AEW and getting a sizeable contract for continuing with the company he has been associated with since the foundation of the brand.
The news comes amid other notable recent backstage departures at All Elite Wrestling including QT Marshall, Vice President of Post Production Kevin Sullivan and Vice President of Live Events & Touring, Rafael Morffi.
