AEW star Saraya has named her dream opponents ahead of AEW All In London, which will emanate from Wembley Stadium.
AEW will make its UK debut this summer, with the company set to host a major event from Wembley Stadium on August 27.
Speaking with Uproxx, Saraya noted that she’s looking forward to wrestling in the UK again. Believing that All In London has a WrestleMania feel, Saraya said:
“I haven’t performed in the UK in years. And then to be on one of the biggest stages you can get over there, Wembley Stadium, it’s just a very wild opportunity.
“It does have that WrestleMania 1 vibe where this is something really special. I feel so fortunate that I get to be a part of history.”
Naming the stars she’d like to face, Saraya teased opening the Forbidden Door:
“I would love to face Jamie Hayter. That would be amazing, because she’s also from the UK — I’ve had the opportunity to be in a tag and triple threat, but not a singles match, and I would love that opportunity.
“Do we open that Forbidden Door? Mercedes Moné, I would love to face her there. That would be such a full circle moment. There’s so much opportunity there.”
Mercedes Mone is currently wrestling for NJPW and STARDOM as their IWGP Women’s Champion.
Will Ospreay recently commented on the possibility of teaming with Hayter at June’s Forbidden Door pay-per-view, opening up about his friendship with the AEW Women’s Champion.
