Top ‘homegrown’ AEW talent were recently asked what they thought about rumors that Mercedes Moné could be set to appear at AEW All In.
Would top AEW stars be open to facing off against Mercedes Moné? Find out what AEW Women’s World Champion Jamie Hayter and Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. had to say!
When a question came in from the audience about the upcoming AEW All In debut in London and the potential that Mercedes Moné could show up, the duo was asked if they would want to face her.
Hayter responded first saying, “Of course!”
Where as Baker asked “Is she showing up? Do you know something we don’t know?” before responding in further detail.
Baker said:
“Of course. Yeah I think we pretty much welcome any and all opponents always.”
Answers like this make it seem like seeing Mercedes Moné in All Elite Wrestling at some point is not such a far fetched thought!
After being asked which dream opponents she would like to face, Baker was mindful of the way that quotes get taken out of context as they float about online.
Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. said:
“This question’s a no-win, because if I say someone from WWE, the dirt sheets tomorrow say Britt Baker calls out Charlotte, you know what I’m saying, which I would love to wrestle Charlotte, by the way. But as far as dream match goes … our answer changes every day and what you’re thinking of and the matches you’re watching. I would love to wrestle any of the four horsewomen from WWE.”
Yeah no, Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D. did not call out Charlotte Flair but wow, wouldn’t we all love to see that?
For her part, Mercedes has also named an epic AEW dream match but it isn’t with anyone from the women’s division! Click here to read more about that.
