A major star is now set to miss this week’s (March 22) edition of AEW Dynamite, set to emanate from the Cable Dahmer Arena in Independence, Missouri.
Per PWInsider, MJF is set to miss this Wednesday’s show. The report noted that MJF has been spotted in Los Angeles this week.
MJF previously announced his venture into Hollywood, with the AEW World Champion set to star as Lance Von Erich in the upcoming Iron Claw movie that will focus on the lives of the Von Erich family.
Other notable names announced for the A24 project include Zac Efron, who will be portraying Kevin Von Erich, and Lily James, whose role is currently unknown.
MJF has been the AEW World Champion since defeating Jon Moxley for the gold at the November 2022 Full Gear pay-per-view.
He most recently defended his gold against Bryan Danielson at the March 5 Revolution event, retaining the title during sudden death time following their 60 minute ironman match.
