recently released MJF and Adam Cole-themed T-shirt has proved to be an incredible hit on the AEW online store.
With a theme also bearing the “Better Than You, Bay Bay” motif (the video for which can be seen below), the popularity of the shirt was pretty much guaranteed from its release.
Dave Meltzer has now revealed specifics on the sales of the T-shirt on Pro Wrestling Tees and Shop AEW, writing in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that:
The MJF & Adam Cole T-shirt “Better than You Bay Bay” in the last few weeks since the release has sold more numbers of shirts than any AEW shirt has for all of 2023.
It’s also the shirt that has been pushed harder than any shirt on the Dynamite show, particularly by MJF last week.
The impressive sales of the T-shirt don’t stop there when it comes to merchandise involved MJF, either, with Meltzer also noting:
It is the second highest-grossing shirt of the year behind an MJF button-down shirt that has a higher price point
The Better Than You, Bay Bay T-shirt has a purchase price of $29.99 on Shop AEW.
The MJF button-down shirt was available for a limited time only and had a retail price of $49.99.
Adam Cole and MJF also recently featured in an advert for AEW: Fight Forever, with MJF professing his love of video games in a rather unique style.
AEW: Fight Forever was released on June 29 2023 on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Series S, and Microsoft Windows.
