Amidst his absence from the company, former AEW World Champion MJF has announced for a match in another promotion.
Maxwell Jacob Friedman made his return to All Elite Wrestling at WrestleDream to attack Daniel Garcia, but the returning Adam Cole made the save to confront his former tag team partner.
Outside of pre-taped promos, Friedman has been absent from AEW television since then.
Boca Raton Championship Wrestling announced on Instagram that MJF will face QT Marshall on Sunday, December 15 at BRCW Festival of Fights. The post reads:
MJF and Festival of Fights. Match made in heaven for a M&G!!!
There will also be a fan meet and greet with MJF before the show. Fans can purchase tickets for the meet and greet here and tickets for the show here.
MJF will face either Adam Cole or Roderick Strong in his first match back in AEW at Full Gear on Saturday, November 23.
Cole recently commented on the changes to his AEW feud with MJF in an interview, which you can read here.
