An update has emerged following speculation about a one of MJF’s former factions being reunited in AEW, following recent teases.
With MVP handing MJF a Hurt Syndicate business card on the March 12 Dynamite episode, MJF hinted on the March 19 show that he ‘may need a clique of his own.’
Alex Hammerstone reacted to this, fuelling rumors that MJF was set to reunite his ‘Dynasty’ tag-team with Hammerstone and Richard Holliday.
Sean Ross Sapp has shared an update on this potential reunion on Fightful Select, responding to a fan who theorised that this was the planned direction.
Sapp reported that when he asked, he was told that Hammerstone and Holliday have not signed with AEW.
The report noted that both Hammerstone and Holliday have many friends – and people pushing for them – in AEW.
Hammerstone recently became a free agent, with his TNA Wrestling contract expiring in early-March.
While there’s speculation about Hammerstone, Holliday and others joining AEW, a current star has now hinted at their departure from the company.
