An AEW name has issued an apology for his recent interaction with a WWE Hall of Famer on social media following a spot at All Out.
Following the event, a clip from the show made the rounds on social media, which appeared to show referee Bryce Remsburg pushing Jack Perry’s leg during a pin attempt in the AEW World Championship match.
Commenting on the spot, WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry, who left AEW earlier this year, said:
I’m not commenting. I’ll be called a hater.
This prompted a response from Remsburg himself, who took issue with Mark’s comments in a now deleted tweet.
In a follow up posted today, Remsburg confirmed that he had Henry had a discussion, with the two now understanding each other’s perspectives on the situation.
He wrote:
Good morning! @TheMarkHenry called me this morning and we had a mature, considerate discussion. We understand each other’s perspective better.
I regret the reaction of negativity I helped to create. Support each other and support pro wrestling. Onward! Upward!
