AEW Name Teases First-Ever Matches For Worlds End 2023 AEW

An AEW name has teased some first-ever creative plans for the upcoming inaugural World’s End pay-per-view on December 30.

With World’s End just two weeks away, much of the card has yet to take shape, with just three matches officially set for Long Island, NY’s Nassau Coliseum.

Speaking on the AEW Unrestricted podcast, AEW Wrestling Administrator Coordinator Will Washington provided some tantalising details regarding what else to expect at the company’s final PPV of the year.

Washington said:

“You’re going to be seeing some matches that you’ve never seen at all, to put on my creative hat for a second, there’s going to be matches on this card that have never happened before.”

Washington would not elaborate on what these first-ever matches could be, however, the AEW Continental Classic has already provided a few of those already since it began three weeks ago.

As well as the final between the winner of the Continental Classic Blue and Gold leagues, the AEW World Championship will be defended as MJF faces Samoa Joe; as well as a Tag Team Championship match between Big Bill & Ricky Starks against the Golden Jets (Kenny Omega & Chris Jericho).
