The November 6 episode of AEW Dynamite saw Kip Sabian officially welcomed to The Patriarchy by Christian Cage.
With Cage noting that Sabian had done more for him than any of his other sons had ever done (with Nick Wayne casting quite the look at the Patriarch), the pair would embrace.
Cage would also note that Sabian is a “fatherless loser just looking for some guidance” and would later attempt to also recruit HOOK.
Commenting that Taz had failed in WWE, Cage would wish death upon HOOK’s father, leading to the three-time FTW Champion sending Cage, Sabian and Wayne running from the ring.
Taz has confirmed that, despite Christian’s wishes, he is not actually dead, tweeting:
“I am not dead.”
Taz is currently sidelined and recovering from successful knee replacement surgery.
He was written off television in a parking lot attack ahead of the October 2 episode of AEW Dynamite, with Christian Cage revealing himself as the culprit.
While currently engaged in his program with HOOK, Cage still holds the Casino Gauntlet contract that guarantees him a AEW World Championship shot at any moment.
