Popular AEW Name Shares Criticism Of Sami Zayn & Bloodline Royal Rumble Angle WWE

A popular AEW name has shared criticism of the Sami Zayn and Bloodline angle from WWE Royal Rumble.

The relationship between Sami Zayn and The Bloodline finally came to a head at WWE Royal Rumble when Sami Zayn hit Roman Reigns with a steel chair after nearly being forced to strike his former friend Kevin Owens.

This led to Jimmy Uso, Solo Sikoa and Reigns of The Bloodline attacking “The Honorary Uce”, but Jey Uso decided to walk out on the beatdown.

The angle has received universal praise from fans, critics and other performers, but it seems like a popular AEW name has some criticism to share.

Speaking on What Happened When with Tony Schiavone, the AEW commentator expressed his belief that the angle “went too long”.

However, despite that critique, Schiavone also did admit how much he really enjoyed the rest. He stated:

“The angle, I liked it. It was very well done, good drama; when one of The Usos walks away — very, very good drama.”

The fallout from Royal Rumble played out on the February 3 edition of SmackDown where Jey Uso was conspicuously by his absence with the rest of The Bloodline wondering where he was.

Later in the show, Sami Zayn appeared to attack Roman Reigns and challenge him for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship before Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa attacked from behind to lay out Zayn.

This led to Reigns accepting Sami’s challenge and wanting the match in his hometown of Montreal at Elimination Chamber to break him in front of his family like Zayn broke Roman’s family.
