Legendary AEW name Jake ‘The Snake’ Roberts has underwent heart surgery today (May 13).
As revealed by his wife Cheryl on social media, the WWE Hall of Famer has today underwent heart ablation surgery.
Chery; Roberts wrote the following on Instagram, along with a picture of her husband in hospital:
Jake’s going in for heart ablation surgery this morning.
Calling all prayers warriors 🙏🏻 good vibes, and well wishes are welcomed & appreciated.@jakethesnakeddt
While his legacy is most tied to WWE, Roberts has been signed to AEW for over five years, debuting as the manager for Lance Archer in early 2020.
Roberts appeared sporadically alongside Archer throughout the years that followed, before his affiliation with The Murderhawk Monster ended last year.
In a talent trade between Roberts and Don Callis, the Hall of Famer relinquished managerial services of Archer and began cornering La Faccion Ingobernable (RUSH, Dralistico and The Beast Mortos).
We at WrestleTalk wish Roberts all the best following his surgery and hope for a speedy and safe recovery.
