An AEW name has undergone successful shoulder surgery, as confirmed during tonight’s episode of Dynamite (October 15).
On October 8, AEW Dynamite commentator Taz announced that he would be undergoing shoulder replacement surgery and would be off TV for a while as a result.
Posting to Twitter, he wrote:
I will be having total shoulder replacement surgery in a short time.
Therefore I will be off AEW Dynamite for some time.
See you soon.
In some good news delivered by Excalibur during tonight’s AEW Dynamite in Kansas City, it was confirmed that Taz’s surgery was a success.
The surgery comes almost a year after Taz underwent knee replacement surgery, with the ECW legend being written off TV via an off-screen attack from Christian Cage’s The Patriarchy faction.
We wish Taz a healthy and speedy recovery and will provide updates on his return timeline when information becomes available.
