An AEW name has shared a positive update after undergoing knee replacement surgery in October.
Ahead of the October 2 edition of Dynamite, it was revealed that AEW commentator Taz would be off TV indefinitely after being attacked in a parking lot.
The perpetrator of the attack was revealed to be Christian Cage, with the angle being used to build a storyline between he and Taz’s son HOOK.
In reality, it was reported that Taz had to undergo full knee replacement surgery and would be off TV to recover.
Thankfully Taz’s surgery was a success, with the ECW legend providing several updates amid his absence.
On December 5, Taz provided another new update, revealing that his recovery is continuing to move ahead in a positive direction.
Posting to Twitter, Taz wrote:
I know a lot of u asked & have sent me good wishes in my rehabilitation of my knee…
Just a quick update. It’s going really well! I’ve been training really hard at PT & my knee is healing/getting strong rapidly!
We would like to continue to wish Taz well in his ongoing recovery.
On last night’s AEW Dynamite HOOK once again called out The Patriarchy, something that did not go well for the second-generation star.
Nick Wayne, who has challenged HOOK for a match at one of AEW’s upcoming events at New York’s Hammerstein Ballroom, delivered a con-chair-to to the former FTW Champion with the help of Kip Sabian.
