The past week has been incredibly difficult for the wrestling community following the passing of Brodie Lee. Last night’s Celebration of Life on AEW Dynamite was incredible but one of the most heartwarming moments was the involvement of Brodie Lee Jr. (AKA “-1”).
Brodie Lee’s eight-year-old son was at ringside during the show and got involved during the Dark Order vs. Inner Circle match. MJF went after young Brodie, removing his mask before Brodie hit MJF with a kendo stick.
Brodie Jr. was also involved in the final segment of the show where he was given the TNT Championship. Now, AEW has named him as the AEW wrestler of the week.

Included on the graphic on Twitter was the touching quote from Eddie Kingston from earlier in the show. Kingston told Brodie Lee Jr. that if he remembers his teachings, his father will never be gone.
It was also revealed earlier in the week that Brodie Lee Jr. had been signed to an official contract. Despite being only eight-years-old, he will have the opportunity to join the company when he comes of age.
