AEW Name Says New Signing Is One Of The Most ‘Complete Wrestlers In The Industry’

A current AEW name has heaped praise on a recent signing; calling them one of the “most complete wrestlers in the industry”.

With rumors abound on potential new recruits to AEW’s women’s division, this week’s Dynamite saw one of the hottest free agents in the business Deonna Purrazzo officially announced as All Elite.

The former WWE star has earned a reputation as one of the best female wrestlers around during her time in TNA/IMPACT, her arrival has sparked new excitement in the new year, particularly for the company’s women’s division.

While Tony Khan has come under fire from fans for not utilising the female talent more on his programming, there is renewed optimism of things changing in 2024, particularly with Mercedes Mone potentially arriving in the near future also.

As well as fan excitement, it seems as if those within AEW are sharing the same feeling as AEW Collision commentator Kevin Kelly recently took to Twitter to heap praise on both Purrazzo and another star soon to make her comeback to AEW TV: Serena Deeb.

Kelly tweeted:

With the addition of Deonna Purrazzo and the return of Serena Deeb, the AEW Women’s Division has two of the most complete wrestlers in the industry.

I am looking forward to calling their matches.

This would even draw a response from Purrazzo herself who thanked Kelly for the praise on Twitter:

On this week’s Collision (January 6) a vignette was played for the return of Deeb (see below), who has been out of action since October 2022.
