AEW
AEW strategy for signing new talent has been revealed in recent comments made by President and CEO Tony Khan.
Since its formation in 2018, AEW’s roster has seen a mix of up-and-coming stars and familiar names, with former WWE star Tommaso Ciampa being an example of a recent signing.
During a recent appearance on 107.7 The Bone, Tony Khan gave an insight into his process when it comes to evaluating potential signings, saying:
“I am constantly evaluating the market and scouting for fantastic wrestlers if they’re available to join AEW.
“AEW is where the best wrestle and it will be for a long time.”

Khan would also describe how the signing of Ciampa gives opportunities for the former WWE star to re-ignite old rivalries and start new feuds.
With MJF as a pillar of AEW and two-time World Champion, Khan has also praised the star whom he originally signed in 2019.
MJF recently revealed that he turned down a WWE contract before signing with AEW for the first time.
