A vignette on tonight’s AEW Collision has seemingly teased a new managerial force in the AEW tag team division.
In the clip that aired on AEW Collision and was also shared on social media, Stokely Hathaway seemed to be up to something.
While he entered a room and went to a stack of DVDs labeled with different tag team matches, he would pick up Swerve in our Glory vs. the Acclaimed, and Briscoes vs. FTR 3, before ultimately placing the one marked Young Bucks vs. Darby/Sting into the DVD player.
The video ends with it seeming as though Hathaway is sitting down to review the match from AEW Revolution for scouting purposes.
You can see the entire clip below.
Hathaway has most recently been in the corner of Kris Statlander, but this video suggests he’ll be adding a men’s tag team to his list of clients as well.
At this point, it isn’t clear whether this would be a brand new tag team he’s forming, or if he’s going to take on the role of managing a team that already exists.
Elsewhere on tonight’s Collision, there was an update of sorts on the status of Bryan Danielson after Wheeler Yuta and Nigel McGuinness shared new details about his condition. You can click here to read more about that.
What is Stokely up to now??
