Spoiler On Potential AEW Forbidden Door Championship Match

At NJPW Dominion, Jeff Cobb retained the NJPW World Television Championship in his match against Tomohiro Ishii.

In post-match comments, Cobb noted it was ‘Forbidden Door season’ and issued an open challenge for the title at the upcoming PPV.

During the taping of the June 29 episode of AEW Collision, Cobb made his presence felt during a brawl between Samoa Joe, Hook & Katsuyori Shibata and The Learning Tree.

Cobb would come to the aid of Chris Jericho, brawling with Samoa Joe in the process.

While Samoa Joe, Hook and Shibata are set to face The Learning Tree, it was speculated by PW Insider that Cobb could face Samoa Joe at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door.

On last night’s episode of AEW Dynamite, Minoru Suzuki made an appearance via video to challenge Jericho in a one-on-one match at the upcoming PPV for the FTW Championship.
