Fans of All Elite Wrestling have been clamoring for an AEW video game. Excitement began to pick up with the launch of the AEW Games Twitter account. The account promised an announcement for tonight and despite a bit of a delay, we got a series of announcements.
Kenny Omega began the press conference dressed as Steve Jobs. This would be a bit of a theme. He officially announced AEW’s official console game, which will be developed by Yukes. They showed the first trailer with footage saying the game was in early stages of production. This game will reportedly be available for current and next-generation consoles.
This would not be the only announcement of the day as Aubrey Edwards emerged in a Jobs getup and announced AEW Elite General Manager. The mobile game will give fans the chance to manage the AEW roster and play to become champion. It was the first of two mobile games as Cody soon made his entrance. Cody announced AEW Casino Double or Nothing, which appears to be a gambling game of some sort.
We will continue to bring you updates on the production of the AEW console game.
